Hyundai prepares hybrid car competitors toyota prius

 allinformation.com- South Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor Co., said it is developing a hybrid car. The model will be a competitor the Toyota Prius.

 Hyundai Motor Company, is an automotive company which is a division of Hyundai Motor Group and is the largest automobile manufacturer in South Korea.

Hyundai is one of the leading car manufacturers in bringing fuel cell powered products. This year, Hyundai began selling its first fuel cell car in the three dealers in California, USA. Additionally, Hyundai will begin sales of a car battery in 2016.

"We want to lead in the future by increasing the competition in delivering environmentally friendly products such as hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen fuel cells," said CEO of Hyundai Motor Kim Choong-ho told Reuters. 

But Kim did not mention in detail about the specification of hybrid products that will be thrown into the market. It is for sure, the car will use Hyundai's first hybrid engine.

In addition to Hyundai, the US automaker, Ford Motor, also has said it will market the first product of their hybrid. Hybrid engines will be installed in their compact car and will go on sale as 2019 models.
