Beard announced that Firefox cooperated during the next five years with Yahoo. "We believe it is useful to more people in many places with choice and more opportunities to innovate," said Beard as reported by Mashable, Friday (11/21/2014).

In evaluating our search partnership, the main consideration is to make sure our strategy aligned with our values and freedom of choice. Our position is to innovate and advance our mission to provide the best service to users and the Internet, "he explained.
